It’s been a while….

I know, it has been a while.  It’s been awhile since I posted something of substance, mostly because I have been dividing my time between my long-distance boyfriend and my ever-increasing piles of homework.  Just for a short update on where things stand:

1) I have to write a thesis…. and I am still working that out.

2) I have a paper and two presentations in the next three weeks

3) I won’t be home over the weekend for the next month… bleh!

That’s a short list, but you get the idea.  I do appreciate the brief moments of respite, but they are certainly brief… I feel sometimes like I don’t even have time to sneak some exercise or basic chores and errands into my schedule, but it is all for the greater good of graduating…. ahh i feel a sigh of relief when I say that word… grad-U-A-TING.  🙂

 

So yea, maybe I shouldn’t have taken 5 classes, but I did.  And maybe I should have found a way to force A to stay in Cambridge for a year so that I didnt spend so many weekends away, but then i would have had the problem of spending too much time at his place. So it all works out, right?

 

Right?

    It does. My wife and I did the long distance thing my first year. It was a fun experiment, but we got married a year later. Two years long distance was enough. Ten years, two boys and a good family life later after a kick-ass 20’s and we are feelin’ fine.

    thanks drew, for your words…. it is rough as you know, but we are pulling through it. mostly its hard having started our relationship 5 minutes away and moving to 5 hours.
